Plants and Things first opened in 1973 as a retail plant shop. Since then, we have expanded into a Full Service Florist, Weddings, Parties and Everyday flowers
Our company specializes in unique floral design, custom arrangements and WEEKLY FLORAL ACCOUNTS. Customer service is key to our long lasting success and our expertise is widely acknowledged. We are not a "Round Mound" shop and we DO make house calls.

Our main objective is to supply only high quality flowers and foliage plants that will both live and thrive in a given environment. Our designs are never stagnant; they change both with the season and availability of product.

We are members of the Society of American Florists as well as Teleflora. We are the house florist for local corporations and service many local businesses with weekly flowers and gift arrangements.

Our President, Bobbi Randazzo, has over twenty-five years experience in this field. She has been consultant to large corporations, such as Union Carbide Corporation, and her designs have been part of the gala decorations at the Neuberger Museum and the Aldrich Museum of Modern Art. Plants and Things was awarded the Reader’s Digest cut flower contract over seven years ago and supplies flower to IBM corporate headquarters.

We are more than a florist or a plant shop. We are a unique combination of the two.

Our shop is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday and from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 3 days prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.
Our shop will always be closed on the following holidays:

Weddings and Parties are a specialty at PLANTS AND THINGS and we provide personal service and attention to each detail. With several hundred "extremely satisfied" brides to its credit, Plants and Things can beautify every aspect of your day; from the tiniest rose boutonniere to a waterfall of garden roses on your reception table. Serving as house florist for many local corporations, the owners personally care for the needs of their clients. Whether for a small corporate luncheon or a formal sit down reception, all flowers are handled by the owners so that nothing is ever out of place. This attention to detail and personal service is what sets PLANTS AND THINGS apart from the rest.

A local delivery fee of $9.95 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)
U.S. orders must be received before 12:00 noon in the recipient's time zone to help assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.
We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at a specific time of day, but we cannot guarantee it.
We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Orders requesting delivery on this day will be delivered the following business day.
Deliveries of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.
We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.

If you open an account on our site or make a purchase, we need your contact information including your name, e-mail address and mailing address to complete your transaction.
